It was eerie to see the dead body of Ho Chi Minh lying in state after 45 years. There wasn't much light inside and there were guards everywhere so any chance of sneaking some video of the body went out the window. My guide eloquently explains the life and death of Ho Chi Minh, former Prime Minister and President of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (North Vietnam).

Original water puppet clips and did some research on vietnam history traditions and culture. cost me 5 bucks and took 50 minutes, has free parking on the side of the building to the left. After three semesters of college I dropped out and chased the high of drugs and alcohol. I enjoyed the feeling of not feeling. A way to numb myself so I didn’t have to take any real action in life. The perfect way to hide my lack of happiness with myself and to not ever face that reality. In April 2014 I decided to change my life forever. Pain is my motivation. I sold my Playstation 3 and bought a used specialized mountain bike at a garage sale for 50$. Since that day I have cycled over 6,000 miles as a plant based, drug free, happy human being. I don’t do this to have a six pack or to be athletic and ...
F4 Phantom Vs Mig21 - Hell Over Hanoi Documentary - History Channel HD The Vietnam Battle, also known as the 2nd Indochina Battle, and understood in Vietnam as Resistance Battle Versus The u.s.a or simply the American Battle, was a Cold War-era proxy battle that happened in Vietnam, Laos, and also Cambodia from 1 November 1955 [A 1] to the fall of Saigon on 30 April 1975. While most historians of the Vietnam War focus on the origins of U.S. involvement and the Americanization of the conflict, Lien-Hang T. Nguyen examines the international context in which North Vietnamese leaders pursued the war and American intervention ended. This riveting narrative takes the reader from the marshy swamps of the Mekong Delta to the bomb-saturated Red River Delta, from the corridors of power in Hanoi and Saigon to the Nixon White House, and from the peace negotiations in Paris to high-level meetings in Beijing and Moscow, all to reveal that peace never had a chance in Vietnam. Hanoi's War renders transparent the internal workings of America's most elusive enemy during the Cold War and shows that the war fought during the peace negotiations was bloodier and much more wide r...

For my meteorology fans, this is something different. I've always been a student of military history, including the Vietnam War. This is a project I dabbled with over the years where I combined mission record data with tapes from official combat mission tapes pulled from the aircraft. The result: this rendering of what happened that night. This is probably the closest possible thing there is to being there. Target for this aircraft (LILAC 2) were the Hanoi Petroleum Products Storage Area at Hanoi Gia Thuong and the Hanoi Railroad Repair Yards.
